The East Anglian Railway Museum is a working museum dedicated to preserving over 150 years of railway heritage in the Eastern Counties. Open every day between 10am and 4:30pm, on certain days special events take place, where you can have unlimited rides on the Museum's preserved Steam and Diesel Trains, we also hold regular Day out with Thomas Events, also the popular Chappel Beer and Cider Festivals.

The Museum is a registered charity. We have a comprehensive collection of period railway architecture and engineering in East Anglia, during your visit you can have a look around our station buildings (preserved in the LNER style), signal boxes where you can have a go at pulling the levers, take a walk through the wonderful Goods Shed and also get the chance to see our volunteers at work in the Restoration Shed. We have a wide range of rolling stock from Steam Engines, Carriages and Wagons along with the more obscure railway items! We also have a Miniature Railway which is operation on most Event Days.
